The BG-08 Brush Grubber is easy to use. You just clamp it on to the trunk and use a chain to connect it to your tractor. They jaws are a little bit tough to open but you don’t need to be a bodybuilder in order to use the BG-08 Brush Grubber. Some customers put the jaws against the ground and push down from the top. This way the BG-08 opens with much less force required.

The BAC Industries BG-08 Brush Grabber has spring operated jaws. The principle is very simple, the jaws grip tighter the harder you pull. Additionally, the jaws have No Slip Grip Teeth making sure that grip does not come off. The pads rotate 360 degrees to decrease the risk of debarking.

Of course you need a tractor to pull the chain. Although rope can be used, it is not recommended. The rope could be stretched too much and become a slingshot.

The WORX WG430 is easy to assemble, no tools are needed. Afterwards you can disassemble it, making it easy to store even if you don’t have much space. The WG430 features a bladeless mulching system, instead of metal blades, it uses normal heavy-duty grass trimmer line (0.090-inch x 13-inch) to shred the leaves. You can quickly adjust the cutting height, from 1.5 up to 3.5 inches. It offers three cutting options. The mulching feature chops clippings and distributes them evenly to help the lawn hold moisture and nutrients. The side discharge allows clippings to be swept quickly from the cutting chamber. And the bagging feature allows grass and leaves to be conveniently collected in the included grass catcher bag.

The WORX WG502 is an improved version of the popular WG500. Two of the main differences are that the WG502 has a 2-stage mulching system with shredder blade and all-metal impeller. Not only is the WORX WG502 better than the WG500, it is also, not very surprisingly, more expensive.

The WG502 TriVac is a 3-in-1 blower, mulcher and vacuum. It a versatile tool, fairly lightweight, quiet and relatively powerful. The WG502 is an electric blower/vacuum, making it less powerful than gas powered models but also quiter and more environmentally friendly. It is corded, making it more powerful than cordless models but you are limited by the length of your extension cord.

The WORX WG502 works very well on hard surfaces. It can be used on lawns as well but it will have some trouble with damp leaves. The WG502 is easy to use, but once the bag is getting full, it can become a little bit heavy. You can instantly switch from blowing to vacuuming. It is a comfortable way of keeping your garden clean. The collection bag relatively small, which can be a bit annoying if you have a lot of debris to clean up.

The WORX TriVac WG500 is a 3-in-1 blower, mulcher and vacuum. It a versatile tool, lightweight, quiet and relatively powerful. Even better, the price is very attractive.

The TriVac WG500 is a fairly powerful. Since it is electric it is not as powerful as gas powered models but it is quieter and you don’t need to worry about gas. It is corded, so it is more powerful than the cordless battery powered models. But you are of course restricted by the cord. The WORX WG500 works best on hard surfaces but you can also use it on grass. But it will struggle with large leaves on grass. The WORX WG500 is best for light to medium jobs. If you want a blower/vacuum that can be used for larger jobs, you most likely want a more powerful, and more expensive, model.

It is easy to change from blower to vacuum mode and vice versa, all you need to do is to flick a button. In vacuum mode, the impeller automatically mulches leaves up to 1/10 of their original size. The WG500 is easy to use and at 8.4 pounds not very heavy. Just beware that in vacuum mode, the bag may become heavy after a while. On the whole, the WG500 gives you good value the money.

The WORX WG500 has an angled nose for easy access under cars, decks and shrubs. The impellers are made of plastic, which means that you have to be a little bit careful not to vacuum up any twigs, which could damage the impellers. Some customers have complained about the bag, so be careful not to fill it up completely.
