The BG-08 Brush Grubber is easy to use. You just clamp it on to the trunk and use a chain to connect it to your tractor. They jaws are a little bit tough to open but you don’t need to be a bodybuilder in order to use the BG-08 Brush Grubber. Some customers put the jaws against the ground and push down from the top. This way the BG-08 opens with much less force required.
The BAC Industries BG-08 Brush Grabber has spring operated jaws. The principle is very simple, the jaws grip tighter the harder you pull. Additionally, the jaws have No Slip Grip Teeth making sure that grip does not come off. The pads rotate 360 degrees to decrease the risk of debarking.
Of course you need a tractor to pull the chain. Although rope can be used, it is not recommended. The rope could be stretched too much and become a slingshot.
